Chemical Storage

To store chemicals in the HMNTL Cleanroom, Biolab, or General Purpose Lab, please follow this procedure:

• If you did not attend the safety seminar last offered on September 22, 2016, please view the seminar here.
• Download the  SOP template and complete it for the chemical you would like to store.  See a completed SOP Example here.
• Obtain a materials safety data sheet for the chemical you wish to store.
• Fill out the HMNTL Chemical Inventory Entry form. You will need to have both MSDS and SOP ready when you submit your form.
