MNTL hosted the 13th annual Center for Nanoscale Science & Technology Nanotechnology Workshop May 7-8, 2015. The workshop highlights University of Illinois research in bionanotechnology & nanomedicine, nanoelectronics & nanophotonics, and nanomaterials & nanomanufacturing, and paves the way for cross-campus and industry collaborations.

At the workshop, Georgia Tech University Professor Mostafa El-Sayed delivered a keynote address on nanotechnology applications in medicine, drug delivery, and determining drug efficacy. Harvard Medical School Professor Mehmet Toner presented a second keynote talk on bioengineering and clinical applications of circulating tumor cells.

Thirty-nine students presented their research results at the workshop’s poster session. Congratulations to the winners.
