Congratulations to Kent Choquette on being selected to receive the 2008 IEEE/LEOS Engineering Achievement Award! Dr. Choquette is the first ECE faculty member to receive this prestigious award. The LEOS Engineering Achievement Award is given to recognize an exceptional engineering contribution which has had a significant impact on the development of laser or electro-optic technology or the commercial application of technology within the past 10 years. The award will be presented at the Annual Meeting on Nov. 10, 2008.
