Eppendorf 5810 Centrifuge

Overview:  Eppendorf Multipurpose Centrifuges feature powerful, maintenance-free motors, and they accommodate a variety of rotors for unparalleled application versatility. They are three centrifuges in one: a high capacity general purpose centrifuge for cell harvesting; a high-speed centrifuge for separating cell lysates; and a micro centrifuge for DNA precipitation.  The perfect rotor pair:  4 x 400ml  swinging bucket rotor and microcentrifuge 30 x 1.5ml tube rotors

  1. Interchangeable swing-bucket and high-speed fixed-angle rotors spin microcentrifuge tubes, popular glass and plastic tubes, microplates, and blood collection tubes
  1. Variable speed, maintenance-free motor spins up to 14,000 rpm, 20,800 x g
  2. Low profile 11-inch access height for easy sample loading
  1. Automatic rotor recognition senses rotor type to set maximum allowable speed and ensures safety
  1. Simple, easy-to-use programming:
    1. Time, temperature, speed/g-force, and radius values can be entered quickly
    2. 34 user-defined programs with write protection for quick parameter entry ensures reproducibility
    3. Adjustable-speed Short Spin button
    4. Ten acceleration and braking rates for protecting sensitive samples
  2. Cooling
    1. Fast Cool function pre-cools chamber in as little as 15 minutes
    2. Temperature range from 0 C to 40 C
    3. Standby refrigeration keeps rotor chamber at set temperature while lid is closed
