Building Access Procedures
The Vice Chancellor for Research requires ALL students who work in a University research lab to complete, at a minimum, the Division of Research Safety (DRS) online General Lab Safety training. Additional DRS courses are required for those who will be working in the MNTL BioNanotechnology Lab.
Please read the lab access procedures carefully! Failure to complete each step of the instructions could prevent or delay your access to laboratories within MNTL.

Researchers who need access to the MNTL cleanrooms and the BioNano facilities will need to attend both the Cleanroom and the BioNano Orientation and Safety Training sessions. If the second orientation is taken within one year of the first, you will not be required to retake the DRS online General Lab Safety training.
